See the power of light with the latest light therapy acne mask from Neutrogena!

So you must be thinking, light.. therapy… ACNE? What the banaza is Carla Kay talking about?!
Be patient…I am going to explain everything…
Neutrogena has come up with a very cool product to fight a common skin problem most of us struggle with.. you guessed it, it’s acne. What’s uncommon though, is the product itself. A Mask. With lights and all. YEP!
The delivery of the solution is what makes this product unique, since the lights radiating from the mask are meant to target pimples, leaving you with a clearer, healthier, and brighter skin over time. The mask can be worn after hooking it with the mask’s activator (A second device that activates the unique lights in the mask, as seen in the image above).
Okay, let’s get into the details..
Here is how The Light Acne Therapy works: Neutrogena explains it in the following and simple chart:

The best part is, it is a chemical-free treatment, 100% UV free, and Health Canada authorized for sale. Plus, the Mask activator is recyclable! (Woot woot!)
Neutrogena also listed the following statement on their website:
“The Light Therapy Acne Mask can be used on all types of skin and is easy to use with a current daily regimen.”
GOOD TO KNOW! I struggle with having a sensitive skin, so shopping for my skin isn’t the easiest task….. I always have to ensure whatever skin care product I am buying is suitable for sensitive skin. So I am relieved to know the details behind this unique product.
Pro tip: In order to avoid unwanted skin rashes, I usually test skin products 24/h before committing to them. It’s best to conduct your test on a small part of your hand first, especially if you have very a sensitive skin.
Moving on, so I followed the 4 easy steps stated by Neutrogena:
- Wash your face
- Plug in the entire activator so no silver is showing, then put the mask on
- Press and hold the start button for a full second
- Wear for 10 minutes and relax
Results:
I used it for 6 weeks long and noticed a couple of things, I like how I didn’t really use a product, it was just some lights glowing on my face. I felt a little weird at first since the mask covers the entire face, so if you are claustrophobic, you might get a little annoyed. But the treatment is only for 10 minutes long.. so if you can get past that, it’s WORTH it.
- My skin felt smoother and less flakey
- I usually have pink cheeks due to having a sensitive skin, upon finishing the treatment I witnessed less red and inflammatory bumps
- Enjoyable experience overall. Once the lights activate, the world changes its colors! However, if you get bothered by bright lights, I recommend closing your eyes during the treatment.
This sums up my experience with The Light Acne Therapy! Have you tried it? How’s your experience with it? Let me know by dropping a comment below!
